Explanation:

First find the Algebraic expression:-

Xn = dn + b

'd' means common difference, which is 2 in this sequence.

'b' means 'first term- d'

So, b = 7 - 2

b = 5

Xn = 2n + 5

Now, to find the 12th term, substitute 12 in the place of 'n':-

2 x 12 + 5

29 is the 12th term!
