Some first hints: The area of a tri

angle equals to 1/2 of height times length of corresponding base side. The area of a parallelogram equals to height times the corresponding base side. in addition, in a parallelogram, two opposing side have the exact same length.

Since then, we can write the area of the triangle as 1/2× h× 18= 9×h

we can write the area of the parallelogram as : 18×h

Since then, we can write the area of the compound as 9×h + 18×h= 27h.
