Answer: (b)

Explanation:

Given

Amelia ordered 2 large pizzas for the party

After the party, half of one pizza and three-eight of pizza is left from other pizza

Sum of the remaining pizzas

\Rightarrow (1)/(2)+(3)/(8)\\\\\Rightarrow (4)/(8)+(3)/(8)\\\\\Rightarrow (4+3)/(8)=(7)/(8)

seven-eight is a fraction which is less than 1

Hence, less than 1 pizza is left

So, option (b) is correct.
