If u subtract 12 from a number and multiply the result by 12 you get 18. what is the number​

13.5 27/2 13 (1/2) all the same

Explanation:

(x-12)x12 = 18

12x-144 = 18

12x = 162

x = 162/12 = 27/2 = 13(1/2) = 13.5

Answer:

27/2 is the value of the number.

Let the number be x.

According to the question,

12(x-12)=18

x-12=18/12

x-12=3/2

x=3/2+12

x=3/2+24/2

x=27/2
