here is SOH CAH TOA is a from to copy and paste into your computer for use for all trig function problems. Yes, I mean save the below for use later.

Use SOH CAH TOA to recall how the trig functions fit on a triangle

SOH: Sin(Ф)= Opp / Hyp

CAH: Cos(Ф)= Adj / Hyp

TOA: Tan(Ф) = Opp / Adj

now figure out what parts you know and what you want to find, and see which one fits that purpose.

we are given the two legs of the triangle and want to find the hypotenuse. so we don't really need SOH CAH TOA, here, Pythagoras will come to the rescue. but still copy the above SOH CAH TOA for use when you will need it.

where A = 15 and B = 10
