What is the overall message of this poem?

The Fly
by William Blake

Little Fly,
Thy summer's play
My thoughtless hand
Has brushed away.

Am not I
A fly like thee?
Or art not thou
A man like me?

For I dance
And drink & sing,
Till some blind hand
Shall brush my wing.

If thought is life
And strength & breath
And the want
Of thought is death;

Then am I
A happy fly,
If I live,
Or if I die.

A.
You should not kill other creatures because they also experience pain.
B.
Every creature on earth is at the mercy of some higher being.
C.
Flies live happier lives than people because they are free.
D.
Flies are important because they teach us to be humble.
