The ration of two supplementary angles are 1:3 what is the measure of the smaller angle?​

Explanation:

Let :-

  • The ratio be 1x : 3x

We know :-

  • The sum of supplementary angles is 180° .

On adding :-

→ x + 3x = 180°

→ 4x = 180°

→ x = 180°/4

x = 45°

Hence the smaller angle is 45° .
