For big circle the diameter is 10 so the radius is 5. Use the equation for the area of a circle pi r^2.
Pi is 3.14 as said in the question.
So 3.14 x 5^2 or 25 x 3.14=78.5

For smaller circle, diameter is 6cm so the radius is 3.
Using the same area of a circle equation it would equal 3.14 x 3^2 or 9 x 3.14=28.26

Take 28.26 away from 78.5 to get 50.24.
To the nearest tenth would mean it would equal 50.2

The last option is the answer
