Length is 2 1/2 feet longer than the width i.e. (×+2 1/2) = (×+2.5) feet Perimeter = 20 feet
2(1+b) = 20
(I+b) = 10
(x+2.5+x) = 10
2x+2.5 = 10
2x = 7.5
x = 3.75 feet
Length = (x+2.5)
= (3.75+2.5)
= 6.25 feet
So, the length of the garden is 6.25 feet.
