Sketch it out real quick on a piece of paper.

As you can tell from the table, for every 3 units along the x axis, 2 units upwards are taken along the y axis.

This makes the slope of the equation (3/2)x or (1 1/2)x

The y-intercept is at y=5 because (on the table), when x=0, y=5.

This makes the equation in point-slope form y=(3/2)x+5
