Explanation:

First, find the area of the pool.

A= πr²

if we fill in the radius, use 3.14 for pi, and solve for A, that's

A=(3.14)(20.5)²≈1319.585

The area of the pool is roughly 1319.585 ft

Now, we find the area of the triangle

A=(ab)÷2

put in 'a' and 'b' (the triangle legs) and solve

A=(84×92)÷2=3864

Finally, subtract the area of the pool from that of the triangle

3864-1319.585=2544.415 which rounds to 2544 ft
