Explanation:

As you can see, g(x) is a proper parabola, so it must be some variation of y = x².

Because the vertex of the parabola remains at (0, 0), know that there is no translation, so all we need to account for is the scale.

In the graph we can see that where x is equal to 1, y is equal to 5. On a normal parabola that would instead be (1, 1), so we know that the y axis is scaled by a factor of five. With that we can say that y = 5x².
