Solution

Given :-

  • Value of car in start years Sv= $ 15,000
  • Value of car in last years Ev = $ 14,000

Find :-

  • % decrease .

Explanation

Using Formula

\boxed{\tt{\red{\:(Decrease)\:=\:(Sv\:-\:Ev)}}}

==> Decrease value = 15000 - 14,000

==> Decrease Value = $1000

Now, Calculate % decrease .

% decrease = decrease × 100/Sv

==> % Decrease = 1000 × 100/15,000

==> % Decrease = 100/15

==> % Decrease = 6.67 % [ Ans]
