✔️The four walls of Frank's room is to be covered with blue paint, therefore, it is a Surface area (SA) problem.

✔️Solve:

The number of square feet to be covered with blue paint = the surface area of the 4 faces

✔️Two of the faces have the following equal dimensions:

Length = 15 ft; height = 9ft

Surface area of the two faces = 2(15*9)

= 270 ft²

✔️The other two faces have the following equal dimensions:

Length = 12 ft, height = 9 ft

S.A = 2(12*9)

S.A = 216 ft²

Total area of the wall to be covered with blue paint = 270 + 216 = 486 ft²
