slope= -1, and it goes through the point (2,5) what is that in standard form

y=1/2x+4. For this problem, you have to a use the slope-intercept line equation, which is y=mx+b, where b is the y-intercept and m is the slope. You solve for b by plugging in the the x, y, and m values. (2,5) is in the form of (x,y) so plug those into the equation along with the slope (m) to get 5=1/2(2)+b
