Question :-

Find the value of x.

____________________

Solution :-

Given Information :-

  • ∠FAE = 90°
  • ∠GAB = 2x°
  • ∠BAC = ∠A
  • ∠CAD = x°

To Find :-

  • The value of x.

Calculation :-

  • First of all, Finding ∠BAC

⇒ ∠BAC = ∠FAE (Reason :- Vertically Opposite Angles)

∠BAC = 90°

  • Now, Finding the value of x

⇒ ∠GAB + ∠BAC + ∠CAD = 180° (Reason :- Angles on a Straight Line equals to 180°)

Substituting the given values, We get,

⇒ 2x + 90° + x = 180°

⇒ 3x + 90° = 180°

Transposing 90° to Right Hand Side, We get,

⇒ 3x = 180° - 90°

⇒ 3x = 90°

Transposing 3 to Right Hand Side, We get,

⇒ x =
\sf{( (90)/(3)) }\degree

Calculating further, We get,

⇒ x = 30°

x = 30°

Final Answer :-

  • The value of x is 30°
