Construction workers are doing a

building project using floor plans
that have a scale of 1 cm to 2 m.
On the floor plans, a corridor is
shown with a length of 9 cm. How

Given:

1 cm in the plan is equal to 2 meters in real life

Length of corridor in plan = 9 cm

To find:

Actual length of corridor

Steps:

Since we know that 1 cm in plan = 2 meters

So,

9 cm = 2 * 9

length of corridor = 2 * 9

Length of corridor = 18 meters

Therefore, the length of the corridor is 18 meters

Happy to help :)
