A friend brings brownies to a birthday party. At the end of the party, 40% of the brownies are left. There are 10 brownies left. How many brownies did the friend bring to the party?

Answer=25

explanation

part/whole = %/100 so

10/ whole = 40/100

to get 10 to 40 you multiply by 4 the you have to do the same to the bottom but since we don’t have a whole we have to divide 100 by 4 which = 25. Hope this helps!!!
