Explain how you can find the centre of a circle if you are given three points on the circumference. Use a drawing to support your answer.

Can someone help me with this I don't understand it. It's from Chapter Test from the Nelson Textbook for Grade 8's in chapter 10. A diagram would be helpful too. Thanks.

Join up the points to form two lines
Construct the perpendicular bisector of one line
Construct the perpendicular bisector of the other line
Where they cross is the center of the circle
Place compass on the center point, adjust its length to reach any point, and draw your circle
