2. Why does every element except hydrogen need at least one neutron in its nucleus?
3. The atomic number of carbon is 6 and the atomic number of nitrogen is 7. How do the number of neutrons and protons in the nuclei of carbon-14 and nitrogen-14 differ?
4. What is the atomic mass of gallium, which occurs naturally as 60% gallium-69 and 40% gallium-71? Show you work.

Answer:

Question one: Protons, neutrons, and electrons are the three main subatomic particles found in an atom.

Question two: It needs attractive force from the strong nuclear interaction to counter the electrostatic repulsion between the protons.

I'm not sure about question three and four... I'm sorry. :(
