Find the equation of a line perpendicular to x + 2y = -16 that passes through the
point (3,8).

Answer: Y= - 1/2x - 8
If you move y to one side by itself that’s what you’ll get and you can check this answer by multiplying each side by 2 and moving the x ti the left side and you’ll get your beginning equation
