Explanation:

well on a six sided die there are the numbers : 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 obviously and we know that the total number of possible outcomes when you roll it would be six

rolling a 4 is only one option out of six so we subtract one from six

6 - 1 = 5

so theres a 5/6 chance you will not roll a 4
