Why are plastic bottle caps such an issue in water?

A - Bottle caps are light weight and LESS dense than water, so they float.

B - Water bottles are made of PET which is LESS dense than the ocean water so they sink to the bottom.

C - Bottle caps are light weight and MORE dense than water, so they float.

D - Water bottles are made of PET which is MORE dense than the ocean water so they sink to the bottom.
