Answer: Joe paid $2.4; Steve paid $7.52

Steve paid $5.12 more than Joe

Explanation:

Cost of I Kg fudge = $32

But we know that 1 kg =1000g

That is to now say that

Cost of 1000g of fudge = $32

a)

If Joe ordered 75 grams of fudge then he paid

Now 1000g of fudge = $32

75g of fudge will cost =75 x 32 /1000 =$2.4

also .

b) 235 grams of fudge ordered by Steve will cost

235 x 32 / 1000=$7.52

Therefore, Steve paid $5.12 ($7.52-$2.4) more than Joe
