Explanation:

a + b = 4300

0.02a + 0.13b = 273

a = 4300 - b

0.02(4300 - b) + 0.13b = 273

86 - 0.02b + 0.13b = 273

-0.11b = -187

b = 1700

a = 4300 - 1700

a = 2600
