length (a)= ?

so,

s^2 = (a/2)^2 + h^2

(17)^2 = (a/2)^2 + 15^2

64 = (a/2)^2

8^2= (a/2)^2

8×2 = a so a = 16

Now we know

volume of pyramid

= 1/3 × a^2 × h

= 1/3 × 16^2 × 15

= 1/3 × 256 × 15

= 1280 m^3
