the length of a rectangle is 6 meters longer than its width if the parameter of the rectangle is 40 meters find its area​

2(x+6) + 2(x) =40
2x +12+2x=40
4x+12=40
4x=28
x=7
Now to find area it is LxW

7x13=91

So the area of the rectangle is 91 meters squared
