1.You have 3 pencils and 33 cents and there is 25 cents of tax on each pencil how much does each pencil cost?

2.First you would distribute the 3 so you have 3p-75=33 then you would add 75 to each side to cancel out the 75 on the left side then get 108 on the right so you have 3p=108 and then you would divide by 3 on each side to get p=36

3.As explained above p=36
