Solution:

Volume of a cylinder is:


V=\pi r^2h

Where, r is the radius and h is the height of the cylinder.

Putting
\pi = 3.14,r=2,h=5 in the above formula we get the volume of the given cylinder is:


V=(3.14)(2)^2(5)


V=(3.14)(4)(5)


V=62.8

Therefore, the volume of the given cylinder is 62.8 ft².
