$(x + 13)/(8) = (21)/(x - 9) \\ {x}^(2) + 4x - 117 = 168 \\ {x}^(2) + 4x - 285 = 0 \\ (x - 15)(x + 19) = 0 \\ x = 15 \\ x = - 19$
