Answer:

V=9021.22

Explanation:

The formula for a cylinder is πr(r)(h)

r=13

h=17

π13(13)(17)

π169(17)

π2873

π=3.14

3.14(2873)

9021.22

V=9021.22

Answer:

Check explanation

Explanation:

There are two ways to solve this, I'm not sure which way is the correct one:

1. Solving with 3.14

V=πr²h

V=(3.14)(13)²(17)

V=(3.14)(169)(17)

V=(3.14)(2873)

V=9021.22

9021.22 rounded to the nearest hundredth is 9021.22

2. Solving with π (I used a calculator to solve with π)

V=πr²h

V=π(13)²(17)

V=π(169)(17)

V=π(2873)

V=9025.79569376

9025.79569376 rounded to the nearest hundredth is 9025.8

The question says to use 3.14 so it can be method 1, but the question also asks to round to the nearest hundredth and method 2 leads me to actually being able to round so it can be suspected that method 2 is the correct way. Whichever you think is best can be chosen and sorry if this isn't a clear answer! I hope it does help.
