So, the fist thing we need to do is calculate the m on the width at the height of the original, which is 16 by 8.

looking at this we can now convert this measurement into our new conversion of 1 unit = 8 m. We can do this by dividing the height and width separately.

Ex:

Since 16 is divided by 8 two times so that gives us the answer of 2 units.

8 is divisible by 8 one time so that gives us the width of 1 unit

if this is confusing just think of it like: x=
(16)/(8) for the height or x =
(8)/(8) for the width.
