Assuming you meant to factor (comment and ill update if you didnt)

we can use the AC method

multiple the A term(2) by the c term(9)

and then factor by grouping
2x^2+9x+9\\2x^2+9x+18 (We\ use\ 18\ to\ get\ more\ factors,\ then\ we\ set\ it\ back\ to\ 9)\\2x^2+6x+3x+9\\\\2x(x+3)3(x+3)
(2x+3)(x+3)
