So basically, if this is not a right triangle, the two sides(4ft^2 and 3ft^2) will be equivelent to 5ft^2.

Lets solve the pythagroens theorm and plug in our values:

4^2+3^2=5^2

Now lets use the square roots:

16+9=25

COmbine the two numbers:

25=25

This is correct!

So yes, this is a right triangle.
