Answer:

when x=0 ,y=7

when x=-1, y=6

Explanation:

Taking
y=x^(2) +2x+7, y=x+7 as equation 1 and 2 respectively

Inserting equation 2 in 1,

x+7=x^(2) +2x+7\\

getting rid of 7 since its in both the sides with the same + signs,

x^(2) +2x-x=0\\x^(2) +x=0\\x(x+1)=0\\x=0 / x=-1

when x=0 ,

y=7

when x=-1 , y=6
