1) <GKI and <HKJ are verticle <s, which means that they are equal

The triangles are congruent by the rule AAS (Angel, Angel, Side).

2) Triangle ABE and triangel ACE are right triangles.

The triangles are congruent by the rule LL (Leg, Leg).

We can use the rule CPCTC (Corresponding Parts of Congruent Triangles are Congruent) to prove that BA is congruent to CA.
