y = 5x + 2
5 is the slope 2 is the y-intercept
3x = -y + 10 turns into y = -3x + 10
-3 is the slope 10 is the y-intercept
they intersect at (1, 7)

5 being the slope and 2 being the y-intercept
to solve for 3x = -y + 10
-3x+y +y-3x
y = -3x + 10
