line c is not perpendicular because it is not 3

Explanation:
if the slope is the same it is parallel
if the slope is the complete opposite it is perpendicular
lines a and b are parallel with a slope of -1/3
(0, 5) (3, 4)
m = 4 - 5 / 3 - 0
m = -1 / 3
m = -1/3
(-1, 1) (2, 0)
m = 0 - 1 / 2 + 1
m = -1 / 3
m = -1/3
line c is perpendicular to lines a and b the slope is
(0, 0) (2, 5)
m = 5 - 0 / 2 - 0
m = 5/2
