56.52 you’re going to take the radius times 2 to get diameter and then diameter times pi or 3.14

The formula for area of a circle is A=πr^2
Radius is the distance halfway across the circle so in this case, r=9
Now just plug the radius value into the equation:
A = π(9)^2 —> A = π(81) —> A = 254.34 —> round to the nearest tenth A = 254.3
**keep in mind we use 3.14 for π**
