To get the coordinate of C as 7/4, what was done was to first take the difference in the x coordinates and then dilate the result by 7

To get the y coordinate;

  • Take the difference in the coordinate

Difference = 3 - 4.5

Difference = -1.5

  • Dilate the result by factor of 7

This is done y multiplying the result by 7;

y coordinate = 1.5 * 7

y coordinate = 10.5

Hence its y-coordinate is 10.5
