We have to isolate y;

2x + 5y = 10

5y = -2x + 10

y =
(-2x + 10)/(5)

y =
-(2)/(5) x + 2

Y intercept is found by having the x value equal 0 (and vise versus for x intercept) so 5y=10 or simplified y=2
Then you have to find the x intercept (2x=10 and or x=5) then it’s just run over rise (2/5)
