Solution:

➙ ( ab² + 10 + a ) - ( 6ab² - 2ab + 8 )

➙ ab² + 10 + a - 6ab² + 2ab - 8

➙ ab² - 6ab² + a + 2ab + 10 - 8

-5ab² + 2ab + a + 2
