How do you properly quote a website? My teacher's example was: "You may say something like this: Chopin writes, "QUOTE." This shows us that...." What if the author isn't referenced?

Answer: Well my teacher told me the same thing to out those mark things """ around your quote or you can say In the text it states, "Quote" (and then here in the pranthesis you put the name of the website or what ever)

You can put the site states, or if you want to be safe, say what the site is, not the link
