A=127.235
The area formula for a semicircle is
(pie)(radius^2). So divide 18 (the diameter) by 2 to find the radius, and it’ll be 9. The when you solve it, it should be 127.235.

Answer:

127.2

Explanation:

The area of a semicircle is:

(\pi r^(2) )/(2)

So to figure it out we first find the diameter:

18÷2=9

Then we plug it into the equation

(9^(2)\pi )/(2) = (81\pi)/(2) Which we can put into a calculator to get 127.2345... so we round to 1 d.p to get our answer, 127.2 (the fifth digit, 3, rounds down)
