Houston is sometimes called the "Energy Capital of the World". Mayor Parker wanted Houston to be called the "Energy Conservation Capital of the World." Explain the meaning of both titles and how they are connected.

In simple words, Houston is called energy capital of the world because so much of the energy is produced in the city for all the country. However, due to rising pollution in the city, the Mayor wanted to start a campaign under which the city is to be termed as Energy Conservation Capital of the World.

The meaning of the second term relates to the intention of the mayor in which she wanted to enhance the image of the city along with its standard of living. The conservative word depicts the responsibility of the citizens to use this important resource carefully.
