What happens to the electric conductance of an electrochemical conductor and metallic conductor with increase in temperature?
The kinetic energy of the ions increases as the temperature rises, causing them to travel quicker and conduct their carrying charge faster, resulting in enhanced conductivity. As a result, the conductivity of electrolytic conductors increases as the temperature rises.
