So long as their laws do not contradict national laws, state governments can prescribe policies on commerce, taxation, healthcare, education, and many other issues within their state. Notably, both the states and the federal government have the power to tax, make and enforce laws, charter banks, and borrow money.State government must be given more powers to decide on things like economic decisions, taxes and moral decisions. State acquires taxes but nation has to decide how much of it can be taken as revenue from state. The state governments should be given powers to control the crimes in the society.
