Aim :

We have to convert them into improper fractions as they are into mixed fractions. So let's start..!!

Solution :

1)
\bf{ 1(5)/(8) }

Multiply 8 into 1 and add 5 into it,

: \: \implies \: \sf{ (8 * 1 \: + \: 5)/(8)} \\ \\ : \: \implies \: \sf{ (8 \: + \: 5)/(8)} \\ \\ : \: \implies \: \red{\sf{ (13)/(8)}}

2)
\bf{ 4(2)/(5) }

Multiply 4 into 5 and add 2 into it.

: \: \implies \: \sf{ (4* 5 \: + \: 2)/(5)} \\ \\ : \: \implies \: \sf{ (20 \: + \: 2)/(5)} \\ \\ : \: \implies \: \red{\sf{ (22)/(5)}}

3)
\bf{ 2(6)/(8) }

Multiply 8 into 2 and add 6 into it after multiplying.

: \: \implies \: \sf{ (2 * 8 \: + \: 6)/(8)} \\ \\ : \: \implies \: \sf{ (16 \: + \: 6)/(8)} \\ \\ : \: \implies \: \red{\sf{ (22)/(8)}}
