No problem,

The first steps we take is we will subtract 11 from the equation and subtract it from the total so it is easier for us.

Its one of the basic rules of Algebra.

2x + 11 = 25

2x + 11 - 11 = 25 -11 (We subtracted from both sides.)

2x = 14 (Now we are going to divide.)

2x / 2 = x

14 / 2 = 7

Now if we put this equation together we get x = 7.

First to find what’s 2x you do 25-11=14, and you know that 7 x 2 =14.
So x= 7.
