Answer:

DE= 3

DF= 4

Explanation:

if triangle DEF is similar to ABC THAT MEANS

A=D

B=E

C=F

step 1

DE=AB

DF=AC

if EC=5 and AC =10 that lets you know that triangle DEF is half of the size of ABC.

so your going to divide by 2

AB/2= DE (6/2=3)

AC/2= DF= (8/2=4)

Answer:

DE= 3 DF= 4

Step-by-step explanation:BECAUSE if the hypotenus is 5 for the DEF triangle, the two sides will be divided by two as well just like 10 was divided by 2 to get 5. This is a very common triangle for early geometry
